Highlights from Year 5

In English we have been exploring ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ by William Shakespeare, looking at various adaptations and  interpretations and finding similarities and differences. In Maths we have continued with our fractions, moving forward to working out a fraction of an amount. We have been exploring Stratford upon-Avon in our geography lessons and looked at the construction of a Tudor house. In Science we have continued with our investigations into the pitch and volume of sounds, including being able to see sounds effect on rice.
