Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week we have continued to enjoy watching and caring for our ducklings! We have given them lots of baths, watched them run around and even got to hold them. It is amazing how much they have grown in 1 week. In Talk for Writing, we have started our new story 'Cave Baby' - we have been exploring cave painting and painting the walls all around the nursery, pretending we were the baby from the story.

This week the Reception children have started learning about Kenya. They enjoyed dressing up in traditional African clothing, taking part in African dancing, explored different African artifacts and musical instruments. In Science, we have learned the lifecycle of a seed and have planted beans.
