Year One and Two Highlights

In English, Year 1 have been practising retelling the story map for our new story 'The Billy Goats Gruff' and have learned about the difference between statements and questions. In Maths, we have been learning about doubles.

Year 2 have been learning about Ramadan. We were learning what happens during the month including what fasting is, how families break their fast and how important it is to be kind. They each made a star to put on a calendar to count down to the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid.
