This week, Year 3 have worked really hard. In Geography, the children located the continents on a map and recreated their own map. In History, the children learned about the Iron Age and the Bronze Age and were able to recall the differences between the Stone and Bronze Age. In Maths they continued the topic of multiplication. In English they all had fun learning their new story map.

This week in Year 4, we started our case study on Japan – our focus country for this half term. In History, we learned about the location of the ancient Roman Empire and compared this to the ancient Egyptian empire. In Computing, we learned how to code a Crumble kit to make LEDs light up. In Science, we discussed how electricity is made and common conductors in insulators. We practiced writing non-chronological reports in English and increased our vocabulary in French.
