Year Three and Four Highlights

Whilst we have been enjoying some festive cheer, Year 3 have also still been working incredibly hard this week. We have completed our formal letters to Miss Lewis, and it looks like we have managed to persuade her to allow us to have a Christmas party after all. We have completed numerous hot tasks and the children have shown exceptional progress. We have also begun preparations for next half term, where the children will be reading from and writing scripts.

This week in Year 4, we finished up our topic subjects with a lot of hot tasks. We answered the big questions of the term like “what made the ancient Egyptian empire successful?” and “how are charity and Christianity related?” We made prototypes of our own food packaging in DT. We wrote our own heist stories in Talk for Writing. We finished the week with our Christmas party. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again in the new year!
