Year 3 have been working hard this week. They have been innovating their story map in writing. They have also started a new multiplication topic in Maths. In History, they have learnt all about clothing in the Stone and Bronze Ages. Finally, they received a surprise visit from the Police and were able to sit in the police van as well as try on the handcuffs.

This week in Year 4, we learned about hieroglyphics and their importance in ancient Egypt. In Science, we planned and completed an investigation about the function of the intestines. Children loved getting messy squeezing “digested” food through tights to see the end of the digestive process. In DT, we began designing sustainable food packaging. We used V2 loggers to collect and analyse data in computing. On Wednesday, we enjoyed a trip to the Ashmolean Museum to see real Egyptian artefacts and even handle a few!
