Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week in Nursery we have been very busy getting into a festive spirit. We have created paperchains and snowflakes for our Nursery Christmas tree. We even made the star for the top of the tree using natural resources from our garden. In Talk for Writing, we have been practising our story map, ready to perform it this week.

This week has been a very busy week in Reception! We started off the week with our celebrations for Sue Hendrickson’s Birthday! We learnt about her early life being a scuba diver. Then we all became palaeontologists, handling real fossils and looking at the equipment used by palaeontologists. Later in the week we had a visit from some police officers that told us about the important job they do and we got to look around their van! We finished the week by performing our Nativity! Thank you all for your support with the costumes and learning their lines!
