Nursery and Reception Highlights

This week, Nursery have been learning about different animals and how to care for them. We learnt that humans need to be careful with animals to make sure we don't hurt them. We made colourful chickens out of paper and designed our own imaginary animals. We have also made some delicious multi-coloured biscuits this week.

This week, the children in Reception have been changing the character from our story map into another animal. The children then thought about how to describe their chosen animal and write a sentence. In Maths, the children have been learning to count 1 more and 1 less using cubes and through singing nursery rhymes. In Topic, the children learnt about campfire safety and what happens at a campfire so that they can be ready for the campfire we had on Wednesday.
