Year Five and Six Highlights

We are thrilled to share the exciting experiences Year 5 had recently! The highlight of the week was a visit from the Langley Fire Brigade. The firefighters engaged the children with an informative session on fire safety, emphasising the importance of staying safe around fire. They demonstrated the use of various firefighting equipment, which fascinated the children. The session concluded with crucial tips on what to do in case of a fire emergency, ensuring our students are well-prepared and informed.

This week in Year 6 has been packed with excitement and new adventures! We’ve kicked off a new class book, The Hobbit, diving into Bilbo’s world of riddles and mysterious characters – and even the teachers joined in by dressing up as some of the story’s iconic figures! In History, we’ve continued our exploration of the Tudors, with a special focus on Henry VIII and his six wives.
