Year Three and Four Highlights
BackYear 3 have jumped back into learning this week, by continuing their addition and subtraction. This week, we particularly enjoyed a game of maths bingo, where we had to use our addition knowledge to add 10's over to the next 100. We had lots of fun! Year 3 have also enjoyed getting stuck into TTRS, to help improve their multiplication skills.
We had an excellent first week back in Year 4. Children started the week by being introduced to our new text called ‘The Great Food Bank Heist’. We found a crime scene in our breakout – poor Miss Williams had been tied up and our computer monitor stolen. The children acted as detectives to look for clues and took their own fingerprints to rule them out as suspects. We did several cold tasks to assess previous learning and began new topics in French, Science, and free flow projects. For TTRS, children were delighted to receive their signed certificates from Baz, the inventor of TTRS
