Year One and Two Highlights

This week Year 1 began reading 'The Rainbow Bear' in Talk 4 Writing. We began our introduction to The Rainbow Bear by creating rainbows with Skittles and water and now we are learning actions to help us remember the story and the text map.

The children in Year 2 have been working really hard this week, looking at all the new topics they will be covering this half term. In Maths, they have started learning their number bonds to 10 and 20. As a hook for their Talk for Writing, they all made aliens and then wrote what their alien spends its time doing each day. They were also finding out how Sikhs celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas and Diwali.
