Nursery and Reception Highlights
BackWe have had another very busy week in Nursery this week. We started the week with 'bring a stick to school day' which is a day to celebrate imagination. Each child brought a stick into school and we imagined what they could be. We made leaf crowns and decorated our sticks and to celebrate further we read 'Stick Man' by Julia Donaldson. In Talk for Writing, we have been drawing ourselves and one of our friends and talking about what the words 'same' and 'different' mean. We have been singing lots of different songs and putting our final touches to our story map performance.
This week has been a very busy week in Reception. The highlight of our week was our library trip, where the children explored the books and listened to stories. We have also been learning about influential black people, specifically Nathan Byron and speaking about diversity.
