Year One and Two Highlights

This week, in Year 1, we have tried our best to challenge ourselves. We have been improving our letter formation to make sure our letters are the best they can be. In Maths, we have worked on ordering numbers. In RE, we have challenged ourselves by comparing Christianity and Islam and discussing what is similar and different about each religion.

Year 2 have a had an exciting week innovating their text map and using their own ideas to begin to write a new letter. In Geography, they have been building on their map work skills and looking at a four point compass. Last week, we looked at animals in space and this week the children learnt about Yuri Gagarin. The children were placing all of the events on a timeline.
