Year Three and Four Highlights

This week, Year 3 have enjoyed learning about Rosh Hashana. We learnt about the celebration and tried apples and honey. As well as this, we learnt about different groups in our community, and had class discussions.

This week in Year 4, we continued our exploration of the Nile River. Children worked in groups to create a simulation of the Nile, desert, and irrigation systems. In Maths, we learned how to count in Roman numerals and made the symbols for short sticks of paper. In Geography, we began exploring the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. In RE, we recorded videos of ourselves explaining the Vedas, some of the Hindu holy texts, and brahmins, the Hindu priestly caste.
