Year One and Two Highlights

The rain did not dampen the Year 1 spirit when visiting Windsor Castle. They explored the features of a castle and the key features of Windsor Castle. In English, Year 1 learned about adjectives and practised retelling the story in preparation for imitating the story.

This term in Art, Year 2 are studying the work of the artist Paul Klee. He used shapes to make his pictures. This week the children used his work for inspiration. They decided what they wanted to make and then cut out the shapes to create their works of art.
