Year One and Two Highlights

Year 1 have been busy learning about Ramadan, careers, materials and numbers to 50 this week. In Bhise class we celebrated the birthday of Shankar Bhise! We became inventors and made our ideas come to life with junk modelling. We created flip books about Bhise’s life and inventions. Year 1 have been innovating the class story map too and are always bursting with new ideas for their writing.

This week Year 2 have had a busy week learning about fractions of shapes and numbers. The children have taken their learning into Freeflow and created their own little books of fractions. In History they have been learning about Florence Nightingale and her role in the Crimean war.
