Year One and Two Highlights

Year 1 had a great time during their hook. They encountered a scary Troll whilst they were making a bridge outside in the playground. We used this experience to help describe a Troll in our English lesson.

Year 2 started the term with the hook for our Nursing Nightmares topic. The children had a range of medical objects - plasters, bandages, stethoscopes, medical wipes and a book about Mary Seacole to work out what we were going to learn about. The children have continued to measure using a ruler and a metre stick and solving maths problems.
