Year Two and Three Highlights

This week in Year 3, we started off with a number of cold tasks and then moved on to our new topic for the term. In Geography, we learned about the states of the USA, with a focus of Georgia, which is where Martin Luther King JR is from. We were excited to start dance in PE, physical descriptions in French and poll creation and voting in Computing.

Our first week back into the Summer term and Year 4 have been working as if they have never been away! They have begun their food for thought topic, with a persuasive piece of writing. They have also learnt about how computers are used to create sounds and music. In Maths, they have explored fractions and decimals. In Science, the children explored different types of instruments and discussed the different sounds that they made. Finally, they completed some location work in Geography, using mapping skills to find London and Edinburgh.
