Year Three and Four Highlights

This week in Year 3, children began discussing life’s milestones and thought about some of the big moments in their own lives. In Science, we started learning to explain forces and label them scientifically. We learned some of the details of Queen Victoria’s life to introduce our unit on the Victorian era. In Maths, we continued learning our 8-times tables.

Year 4 have made a fantastic start to the Spring term. They have been working hard completing cold tasks and have made a great start to their new topics this term. In Science, they have been learning about the role of evaporation in the water cycle and how it is increased with heat. In English, the children have enjoyed the introduction to graphic novels and have managed to use their devices to make graphic novels of their own. Well done to Maathai for winning Battle of the Bands, you’ve made a good start to the term.
