Who are Ofsted?
As you may be aware, Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) are the Government agency responsible for inspecting and regulating services which care for children and young people. This includes inspecting schools and educational establishments for learners of all ages.
Inspections follow a rigorous framework and are undertaken by a team of inspectors. All schools are expected to provide a standard of education for their pupils which is ‘Good’ or better.
When was TLAP inspected?
TLAP was inspected on 10th and 11th July 2018. Pleasingly, we were awarded the highest grade possible, that is OUTSTANDING in every area:
- Overall Effectiveness – Outstanding
- Leadership and Management – Outstanding
- Quality of teaching, learning and assessment – Outstanding
- Personal development, behaviour and welfare – Outstanding
- Outcomes for pupils – Outstanding
- Early years for provision – Outstanding
We are pleased that as a new and forward-thinking school our approach to teaching and learning has been validated by Ofsted.
